Geotechnics has extensive experience providing field services in concert with our clients on various types of projects. Our personnel have been utilized on a full-time basis as well as a part-time basis to help relieve our client’s field scheduling concerns.
Geotechnics experience includes logging and documenting a test pit or drilling subsurface exploration program. We also provide construction observation services for foundations, fill placement and caisson inspections. We also provide in-place density testing with a nuclear density gauge. We have extensive experience observing lime – soil stabilization on highway projects which includes documentation of the lime application rate, geo-probe exploration to verify the penetration of the lime and soil classification.
Geotechnics has extensive experience performing construction observation services for the installation of synthetic liner systems for landfills. Our experience includes the installation of geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids and GCL material. In addition, we have extensive experience observing the installation of various gas collection systems.
