Our AASHTO accredited geotechnical laboratories routinely provide quality, responsive testing services for projects ranging in scope from a few samples with basic classification tests to several hundred samples with a complex series of characterization, compaction, consolidation, strength and permeability tests. Geotechnics features an extensive array of permeability testing capabilities with rigid and flex-wall permeameters ranging from 1.5 to 12 inches in diameter. We are equipped to test nearly 50 three-inch diameter flex-wall samples simultaneously. Geotechnics is also equipped with 5 consolidation frames, 3 direct shear machines and 4 triaxial load frames with 15 triaxial cells.
Geotechnics also provides various testing for coarse and fine aggregates including Relative Density with the vibratory table along with permeability testing of aggregates in our 4"-12" rigid-wall permeameter and Unconfined Compression testing of rock core, concrete cylinders, grout and mortar cubes.
