The geosynthetic laboratory is equipped with 4 universal testing machines to handle the most demanding project schedules. Geared for quality and service, Geotechnics has developed innovative apparatus and fixtures designed to maximize the accuracy and precision of the test results while accelerating the turnaround. In addition to the full range of routine conformance testing capabilities, Geotechnics has a 12-inch direct shear apparatus, which can apply loads up to 25,000 pounds per square foot. We have a wide width testing machine, which can handle high strength geotextiles and geogrids with breaking strengths over 4,000 pounds per inch and a CBR Puncture Ring Clamp that secures Textiles to over 3,000 lbs.
