Geotechnics has extensive experience providing geotechnical, geosynthetic and field testing services for the solid waste disposal industry. Geotechnics services have been utilized on hundreds of landfill projects from the initial site exploration, existing soil characterization study, development of the design parameters to the landfill closure.

Our GAI-LAP Accredited geosynthetic laboratory has performed conformance and performance testing on numerous landfills throughout the USA. Our testing capabilities and experience allow Geotechnics to handle the most extreme construction schedules.

The geotechnical laboratories are AASHTO accredited and have extensive experience working with landfills throughout the eastern United States. We have performed services in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and New Jersey.

We also provide field services that includes construction observations and documentation of site activities such as installation of geosynthetic liner systems, in-place density testing of fill placement and installation of piping systems.

Geotechnics performs construction observation and documentation during the placement of geomembrane caps for numerous solid waste landfills.
